About AuditEdge
Practical audits for search visibility and AI answer readiness.
AuditEdge helps site owners understand whether public pages are crawlable,
understandable, and structured well enough for Google Search, AI Overviews,
ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other answer engines.
What the product checks
A typical AuditEdge scan reviews the basics that still matter: HTTP status,
HTTPS, indexability, title and meta description quality, heading structure,
schema markup, page word count, mobile readiness, and sitemap signals. It
also adds checks for the newer discovery layer: AI crawler access in
robots.txt, llms.txt availability, and paragraph structure that can be
cited cleanly in AI-generated answers.
The goal is not to replace a full technical SEO consultant. The goal is to
give founders, marketers, agencies, and content teams a fast first pass
that separates urgent fixes from nice-to-have improvements.
How recommendations are made
Recommendations are based on the page data returned by each scan. The
report highlights observable issues such as missing metadata, blocked
crawlers, thin body copy, weak heading hierarchy, invalid structured data,
or missing AI discovery files. When AI suggestions are generated, they
are tied back to those audit signals rather than presented as generic
ranking promises.
Editorial approach
The AuditEdge blog focuses on practical guides for GEO, AI crawlers,
structured data, llms.txt, and search result presentation. Articles are
written to be actionable for people maintaining real websites, with
examples, checklists, and implementation tradeoffs instead of recycled
definitions.
Limitations
No audit tool can guarantee rankings, traffic, or AI citations. Search
and answer engines use many off-page signals that a single URL scan
cannot fully measure, including brand reputation, links, entity
recognition, freshness, and user demand. AuditEdge reports should be used
as technical and content guidance, not as a guarantee of commercial
outcome.
